13-4-10 - Competitions, Concours and Climb and Glide
Firstly, please see the events column on the right of this page where you'll see the dates for Reno this year.
Secondly, congratulations to Paul Smith who won the concours this year with his superb AT-6 Texan. This aircraft has now successfully flown and looks and sounds fantastic. Well done Paul!

Full concours results will be uploaded to the new 2010 events page soon and keep checking back for new photos in the gallery.
Lastly, congratulations to Lee Millbourne for winning the climb and glide that was held at Linton in March. Robin Woolley came 2nd and yours truely came 3rd. A great day in the wind! Once again, full participation list and photos to appear soon.

16-03-10 - Forum Update
Just a quick update to clarify that the MMFC forum is only available in full to members of Maidstone Model Flying Club. If you are a member, you will need to register in order to utilise the entire forum. Guests (non-members) are welcome, but will not be able to view all areas.

10-03-10 - The MMFC Forum has landed!
Click here or navigate at the top of the website to access the club forum! For security purposes, you will need to register first in order to view and post on the forum (don't worry it's quick and easy!).

09-03-10 - Coming Soon: MMFC Forum
There are plans to bring the club together in online discussion. Also, an online trading post is a possiblilty. Watch this space for developments over the coming weeks!

25-02-10 - New Year, New Committee, New look News
Well, a very belated Happy New Year to you all (yes i know it's nearly March!).
So with this New Year we see there are a few new faces in the Committee. For look at some of the new officers please see the Committee section.
One of the chaps stepping up to the plate this year is young Stevie Mills who has taken over the difficult task of producing our fine MMFC Newsletter which the other Steve (McDermott) made his own over the last six years. I've also taken an opportunity to revamp the news section here on the website with an improved site status section you can see at the top of this page.
Finally, check out the GALLERY section for some new snaps sent in by our members.

There is now a Video section online. Use the navigation menu above to find the latest videos, and you can also follow the link on the page to our channel at YouTube.

09-09-09 - ANNOUNCEMENT! Egerton Flying Days
With immediate effect, the flying days at the Egerton site are now the following:
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: All powered flying (Turbine models on every other Saturday)
Mondays and Wednesdays: Quiet electric power only
Sunday: Sorry, no flying
